Are you a parent or caregiver of a child ages 0-5? Do you work with our youngest kids? Are you an administrator of an early childhood program? The New York State Council on Children and Families wants to hear from you!
The Council is in the process of conducting a statewide needs assessment of the early care and education system for kids ages 0-5. This system includes things like child care, early learning environments, and related supports to families during the early years of their child's life. The assessment will help the state better understand the strengths and needs of caregivers, program administrators, and staff.
It's important that the state hears from you and gets your feedback! The results of this needs assessment will lead to possible changes at the state level for funding, services, and care for our youngest kiddos.
The survey is available below in seven languages and must be filled out by June 7th. The survey takes up to 20 minutes to complete, and participants will be entered to win a $100 gift card. We're encouraging you to fill out the survey to have your voice heard! Not impacted by this age group? Forward it on to family members of friends!
If you have any questions about how we're working to improve access to services for our youngest children, please reach out to Stephanie David at stephanie.david@commongroundhealth.org
