Jesse Knoth executes the Healthi Kids PlayROCs campaign, developing strategies and tactics that advance play as a cornerstone of whole child health in schools and in neighborhoods.
A nonprofit professional with more than a decade of experience working with youth, community groups and government agencies, Knoth previously served as a district executive with the Seneca Waterways Council, Boy Scouts of America. In this role, he oversaw scouting programs in Rochester, Irondequoit and Brighton. As executive director of the South East Area Coalition, Knoth built partnerships with, and provided technical support to, neighborhood and business associations to facilitate grassroots community projects. Through his previous work, Knoth was a community partner with Healthi Kids for more than 12 years.
Active in the community, Knoth is a member of the 19th Ward Community Association, a committee member of the Westside Farmers Market and a member of the Rotary Club of Southwest Rochester.
Jesse Knoth earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, with a concentration in urban and community studies, from RIT. In his spare time, Knoth enjoys biking, skiing, playing disc golf, gardening, the Rochester Jazz Fest and spending time with his cat.
