We had a blast building the new playground at the Ryan R‑Center last October. We hope you and your family have had even more fun playing on it!
Through our partnership with KABOOM! and their 25 in 5 initiative, we’re working with neighbors to create more great places to play and build community in the process. The City of Rochester is also finishing several playgrounds that will be ready this year.
- MLK Park
The playground is almost done and will open this spring. It includes Rochester’s first fully accessible play features like a We‑Go‑Round, We‑Saw and a spray park. While you’re there, check out the Playwalk, the Ripple and outdoor instruments just a short hop away. Learn more. - Maplewood Park
The playground will be finished early this year along with the new Nature Center, bringing new life to the area. It’s right next to the Genesee River Trail Bridge to Seneca Park, making it a great spot for a full day of fun in nature. Learn more. - Lightfoot R‑Center
Construction starts this summer on a new pool and playground. We’ll share more details as plans are finalized.
Stay tuned for announcements about our next community build with KABOOM!—and keep playing every day!
